All the other surgeons are less expensive than Dr Suporn.

There's a lot of people on these forums going to Dr Chettawut, and he's regarded as very good.

I don't think anybody knows who is the best. All we can only say who we used or who we plan to use because it is a subjective view. I honestly believe it is a case of deciding who best fits with you based on things like location, price, technique, timing and a few other things.

I went to Chett and am extremely impressed by his work but I have no doubt Suporn or Preecha would have done a good job as well.

I hope you are able to choose the right surgeon for you :)

I always imagine that if you put pictures of srs vags from each of the big Thai and American surgeons and add in a mix of cis vags, no one would be able to pick out who is who.

Hello, today is my 13rd. day post-op. After a long research I found Preecha Aesthetic Institute (PAI) http://pai.co.th ,  and based on my personal experience I can tell you these people are great professionals and I am vey happy about my choice. Service was great since arrived; PAI will pick you up from the airport and help you out finding accommodations for the time you would need or desire to stay in Bangkok; also they will assigned a diver for you, for any time you need to move from your hotel to the clinic and hospital.

Everybody in PAI is very professional and kind. Dr. Preecha Tiewtranon is not only the CEO but the guy who developed the technique which is use all over the world for SRS.

The surgeon in charge of my surgery and my doctor in Bangkok was Dr. Sutin Khobunsongserm, he is a lovely person and great doctor. For my surgery and recovery time,  PAI accommodated me at Piyavate Hospital, in a very comfortable, modern and personal room for me and my mom (everything included on the price), and I can assure you the best nurses took care of me while my stay at Piyavate Hospital.

They also can help out if you don't have a psychiatrist letter, they found for me the doctors and I got my two letters signed by two psychiatrist in English for a very affordable price.

In a few words, my trip from Miami to Bangkok worth it by every penny and time I spent it there.

Good luck with your research.

So good to read the PAI comments, thanks Sorcha. I was examined by Chettawut, Suporn and Sutin (PAI). I choose Sutin at PAI because I thought that while they were all students of Dr Preecha and thus similar in their procedures,  I did think that Chett and Suporn were kinda prima donna's and charging much higher prices. Plus Chett uses his clinic for surgeries and Suporn uses a 3 star hospital.
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

I had my surgery with Dr. Chettawut on 6/15/15, and I recommend him completely.

To answer the most common questions:
Depth: 5-6 inches
Appearance: Like a normal vulva - they vary greatly, but I don't think anyone could distinguish mine from a cis-woman's.
Sensation: Marvelous. This was my biggest area of concern, but I'm thankful to say I had my first orgasm recently (and my second, and my third, and over the last week I've lost count...)

Chettawut and his nurses are incredibly kind and caring and attentive. Nurses will actually sleep in the room with you while you're still at the surgery center, and once you're back at the hotel, they'll check on you every day. He is also inexpensive compared to Suporn.

I have absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend this surgeon.

I wondered why Suporn uses that hospital, and I have the impression that its because he's always used it and why change? He wasn't always famous and bringing in lots of foreign currency like he is now.

I'm told by someone who works in the medical profession in Australia that the hospital standard appears to be similar to those there (having been in hospital in Sydney I don't suppose that's saying much), and the care is far superior. I'm not be surprised the care's good, as its a locals hospital and Suporn must be putting a lot of money their way.

Personally I don't think its ideal, but I've not heard of any problems and I do believe his skills as a surgeon more than make up for it.

I know someone who's seen a lot of both and she says you can tell the difference.

You could have a look here:

Well a few surgeons have their own technique.
Suporn for example is said to use a special procedure to mesh the tissue... so it can be better streched for more depth...
disadvantage is a longer healing time...

I was told by nurses who cared for Mr Terrys SRS patients that "after 6 months unless you know what you're looking for you wouldn't tell" so I guess that means most non medically trained people wouldn't know for certain. You'd tell I've had surgery because of the location of my scars but they'll fade and nobody but me sees my vagina anyway :)
