"When Russell T Davies' twin series Cucumber and Banana aired at the start of the year, there was one headline among the threesomes and golf-club murders that was quietly significant. Bethany Black, a minor recurring character as Helen, became the first transgender actor to play a transgender character in a British TV serial."

This show makes me so hopeful about what comes next for the UK trans* generation coming after me (and a little bit optimistic about today) :)

Promethea

I just watched the first episode, it was really sweet.

The only thing I didn't like is that they did the trope where she has a strong handshake... I hope they don't make those things a habit.
Life is a dream we wake from.
