I want to purchase my first Breast Forms but I don't want to spend a lot of money on them and I just am curious if anyone has any advice on where I should go and how much are typically an average price for them?

I have visited the Breast Form store and they are so expensive and so much more than I want to spend on them right now. Any advice would be awesome

In the past, I made my own.  I'm pretty handy with a sewing machine, so I made a pair of forms, flat on the skin side and shaped on the outer side.  I stuffed them with cotton batting.  They wouldn't have stood up to a squeeze test, but they filled a bra nicely.

I found styro soccer balls, kids mini. Halve with a serrated bread knife. Sports bras sometimes have light foam cup inserts. Simple, cheap. Not terribly realistic, but clothes fix that, just like clothes cover up the rest of the cis-M.

A good pair of breast forms feels good to put on. Well worth some money. I would say pay what you would feel like paying for a wig. The more the more real it will be.

I ordered a new set last week. They are pricey, but I'm excited to receive them. I'm wearing my cheapy ones now as I ready for bed, they say not to wear these silicone ones to bed, but I do and gave not gad an issue yet. It's powerful to wear them prior to and during sleep, I can't explain how complete I feel when sleeping and awaking to nice cute breast that all us girls require.
My breasts are, Gold Seal Classic 2, size 5 (B cups),they are best for confirming to my pec muscles. My bra size is 40, I find it hard to find sexy bras in 40B, VS has very few, but I love the VS Bralettes, which I wear everyday, so I'm pretty sure they will work fine with my new breasts.
I cannot say enough about wearing breasts, when I'm really ramped up and leaving town, I wear them out, and love the looks I get from passerbys, my therapists thinks I trying to draw attention, and he is correct! I'm always reminding him of my passionate desire to attract a partner, it's just a little piece of the puzzle I guess

Way way way back, before I committed to fully transitioning, I wore breast forms that I bought from "The Breast Form Store,"

In retrospect, you're right, they're probably ridiculously overpriced, but they did work very well for me for years.

A long time ago, when I was a teenager, I would fill gallon size, non-zip bags up with water in varying sizes. I would tilt the bag down so the water fills a corner, and then I would tie the end off using the three corners not filled with water. Then I'd run some rubber bands around the tied off part and trim the excess bag off. They fill out a bra nicer than birdseed (in my opinion) and eventually warm to your body temperature. Don't tie the bag off too tight, you're not after a water balloon...

I also used to get the little silicone breast enhancers (chicken cutlets) and stack them to get the size I wanted.

Hopefully someday you can afford forms, they are a milestone.

In the beginning I used some water filled balloons. Make sure you don't over fill them and definitely use two or three to thicken the rubber as the last thing you want is a broken balloon!

They don't look too bad but again, breakage is the risk. I never had that happen though when I wore them.

I eventually got some from Wildside in Toronto. They cater to all manner of people who are transitioning or cross dress so don't be embarrassed if you contact them. Paddy has heard and probably seen it all over the years. The cost was somewhere about $100.00/$150.00 or so but they were a great improvement.

I aave my own now so breast forms are a thing of the past for me.

Without a doubt, silicone breast forms are well worth the cost.  The thing about silicon is that they have a very realistic feeling while on your chest. . They bounce and they warm. . They feel very realistic. .

Heads above any other sort of form. .

Don't feel bad about starting with something cheaper.  My first venture was basically foam used for cushions that I had cut to size.

The next step was a pair of Nearly me size 32 A/B professionally made foam falsies. . felt better, light weight and good shape. . .

Then a pair of silicon thin shell forms (less than $100)  which worked well with A or small B cups.

The next step up was a pair of Amoena 651 silicon forms, which had a certain amount of "Drape"  Size 4 which was about a 36B. . .more expensive forms at about $400 for the pair.  The drape basically created a small amount of sag, which made them quite realistic. .  They were guaranteed for 2 years, but I got a good 4 years of service from them.

The current set are Nearly me #865 symmetrical Modified breast form in size 5 (about a 38 B and about 1.5 inches of projection.  Reasonably priced, They were about $250 per pair, but firmer. . almost too firm.

A good less expensive choice is a clear silicon swim form. . about $200 a set. . .

All the ones i've gotten and i've gotten quite a few over the years. I seem to be hard on them lol. I got from amazon. the last pair i got were about 70 bucks. Some of the others i got were 250. So they can have a bit of a range. Mostly what i find on amazon si too small for my tastes, but they could have gotten more selection again :)

I have gotten several silicon forms ..different sizes.. from Amazon.. in the 50 dollar range..
well worth the money ( and I'm cheap )..
I find different shapes work better with different clothes and swim suites..
Much to my surprise.. I preferred smaller ones over time..
And if you ride roller coasters that do loop's..
Make sure everything is secure before you get out of the car... :o

I have a pair from JCPenney but I've seen them on eBay too. "Fashion enhancers" by Fashion Forms. Clear silicone, no nipple, so only good in a bra or swimsuit. But, they have a good weight and move with me.
About $40

when I 1st started CDing, I used falsies but then decided to buy 34B breastforms. They were pricey but I did get a lot of use out of them. Ever since my HRT has given me VERY full 34As, I am not sure what I want to do w/ the breastforms. Should I throw them away, Ebay or what? I really haven't decided. Most of the time decisions we make is how much?  can I afford them? & how much use will I get out of it?

I have tried water balloons (disaster, one leaked), bird seed (got fondled like a bean bag) and so on and I have come to the conclusion that you basically need pert nipples with a good push up bra, perhaps with chicken fillets to provide some lift.

I use nipple teats plus an electric breast pump to extend my nipples so they are hard and protruding before dressing and going out. After that, your bra cup size is of secondary importance in attracting attention.

If you are lucky enough to get fondled, there is nothing false there: the boob tissue may be a bit sparse, but you will be hard and long where it counts.

By wearing padded bikini bras, I do not need breast forms.

They cost less than US$ 10 in AliExpress.com where I recently purchased a bunch of bikinis.

Just do it.

While I absolutely love my silicone forms,  the sleep forms from thebreastformstore are quite nice starters with the added benefit that you can wear them overnight. They even have just enough weight to bounce a little.

I didn't use customer service when ordering mine and got lucky on the sizes I ordered.  My foam sleep forms are slightly larger than my silicone forms,  allowing me different sizes for different occasions.

However,  I've heard that ordering through customer service almost guarantees you'll get the size you are looking for.

The best purchase I ever made, believe me!  I was able to find mine on Amazon, and it was reasonably priced ... about $30.

Haven't had any issues with them ... work great, and feel amazing!

I'm now on my 4th pair.

First pair were foam, and way too stiff.

Then a nice pair of silicone forms - were great until the great purge :-(

Bought a pair of Transform Premier Semi-rounds a year ago. Sort of attachable but looked too "implanty" for my taste.

Just bought a pair of Aphrodite forms. Every natural shape, and yes, going braless is really a unique experience.

Sadly, this stuff gets expensive, but even my first silicon forms were a big improvement over anything else I tried (including water balloons and nerf).
