Hi, welcome to the forum. We cannot give you any medical advice here, you should speak with your doctor or an endocrinologist. That being said, Spiro is also a diuretic and blood pressure medication as well as an anti-androgen. It is suitable for some with proper medical supervision, and not at all for others. In addition, your body requires a sex hormone, if you were taking only an anti androgen long term you will find that you may gain weight, feel tired, sweat profusely and potentially develop osteoporosis.

Grace is right, it's not really safe to suppress testosterone alone for very long. You won't get feminizing effects without estrogen too. You would probably just lose libido and start to feel the effects Grace mentioned.

Welcome to Susan's Place. While I have never used a blocker, it is important to talk to your doctor before altering any medication levels because side effects  and interactions between drugs needs to be considered with dose adjustments made as required. In short, you may not see it but your doctor is working off a long term plan to reduce the risk to you. Altering your medication without informing your doctor will put you at risk.
