Soreness around armpit/shoulder area?

So recently I've been feeling some weird dull soreness right around where the tendon that connects the shoulder and pectoral is.  Basically like right around the outside of the armpit.  It's not really a sharp pain or anything, just dull and sore like I said and it's not swollen or anything.  I was mildly worried because I know sometimes that kind of thing can indicate illness, but it's only on my left side and everything else feels fine.

And I'm only on my 2nd week of HRT and coincidentally my left side is the only side that's felt sore and tender so far while the right lags behind.

So has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Unlikely to be due to HRT but check your dr to be sure.

Yeah actually I just thought that I might have just pulled something.  The soreness sort of spread into my elbow/bicep as well, which I don't really think would happen if it was some illness.  And it still doesn't even feel that painful or disruptive so I'm going to give it a few days to see if it clears up.  I'll still bring it up to my doctor though.

The thing is, it could be anything. It could be nothing but it could also be something. If it's been a few days, hasn't gone away and is bothering you then see your doc - better safe than sorry.
