I wouldn't recommend Dr. Reed, speaking from a personal basis.
I knew that his recovery program was Spartan at best, but having had a number of previous surgeries, I wasn't concerned. It's not for the faint of heart at all, however. Surgery of that nature on an outpatient basis is risky, and you'll need a caregiver to do everything that a nurse would do.
My post-op caregiver did everything she could, but I still had several complications that may not have happened in an inpatient setting.
I still have issues three years post-op, but haven't wanted to travel back there for followup.
