"Eight transgender women are part of Iran's women's football squad, according to reports.
Despite laws criminalising homosexuality, Iran has accepted the practice of gender reassignment for decades – and has a large transgender population."

The news here called them men, and highlighted that they still hadn't "competed" their surgeries...

Same here. Because apparently having had years of hormone therapy means you don't qualify as a woman "if you still have a penis"... apparently a dong is the source of all male power.

OMG this is hilarious. I always thought we trans all hated soccer, just like before I had the wrong ideology that all trans were straight and that lesbian trans did not exist but with time I came to learn yes.

Worse some of them don't even look trans, I guess they were just gay men who were forced by their laws to be trans cos being gay is illegal. Some countries need to evolved in their mindset damn it.
