Senate Democratic leadership laid out Tuesday a drafted bill to add protections for gay and transgender Hoosiers in state civil rights law.

Senate Minority Leader Tim Lanane, D-Anderson, said he intended to sponsor the proposal, which would prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in the areas of employment, housing and public accommodations.

Being a Hoosier, I can only hope for the best, but seriously with Mike Pence as Governor, this will probably go as far as the bill in Poland went. But, one day - Equal Roghts WILL be the law of the land.
