So! I am having my FFS with Facial Team three weeks from Friday!

I'm gonna use this thread as an open forum for thoughts and to document my surgery and recovery as it happens :-).

I'm super excited and also terribly nervous!

I'm doing forehead reconstruction, chin and jaw, and then rhinoplasty :-). And yes  I am staying at Jenny's

You will love staying with Jenny! Her new place is beautiful. Both Jenny and Nicola are wonderful, as are the FT folks and the hospital staff.

I was there for the first half of September. Surgery one month ago. Bruises are long gone, but I am still swollen and numb in places, as I was told I would be.

Paid my balance on the surgery last week, paid my balance on Jenny's Nest today, and I am all set! Now all I need to do is show up :-P. Wheeeeeeeeee! I'm nervous about the recovery but I'm really excited about the surgery itself. I don't look particularly masculine from the front, and generally I have no problems passing, but especially from the side, I have a prominent brow ridge and a very square jaw/chin. So while they don't seem to hinder my passability at the moment, I am quite insecure about those features and cannot WAIT for them to be gone :-D. I leave two weeks from Wednesday!

Hey all! Just a little update :-). I arrived in Marbella late yesterday afternoon. I was greeted by the lovely Nicola and spirited off to Jenny's Nest. The Nest is GORGEOUS (

). Jenny is so sweet and accommodating, and the other girls here at the moment are awesome and a wonderful morale booster. I'm getting up to get ready to head off to HC Hospital for all of my preop tests and cat scans (I'll definitely post my cat scan photos when I have them), and to have my final consultation with the surgeons. Then surgery is tomorrow morning . Anyway! I'll keep y'all updated as things progress :-).

Wow good luck! You look great of course but I understand. I have similar issues with the brow ridge. Would love to see your results and recovery, etc. Even after having transitioned 6 years ago, I sometimes wonder about doing the brow ridge and/or rhino. Mostly worried about recovery and how I could keep being 'stealth' while not letting on to anyone about it.

Unfortunately, they were way too expensive for me (15,000 Euros).
