So I had my first appointment with my endocrinologist today and everything is a go as soon as my therapist faxes over my letter.

I am so excited.

I keep waiting for that moment when I start to queation, what I am about to do, but it still hasn't hit me. Maybe that is a good thing. I will drop a reply as things develop.

My doctor is starting me on estradiol and spironolactone. Will be super curious to see how everything plays out.

Congrats! Last minute questions and doubts are not uncommon. It always seems like so much has led up to the moment, time has dragged out and then it's almost a reality which can be a bit of a shock!

Congrats.  I remember too that week I had to wait for my endro appointment after I received my HRT letter.  Was very exciting!!!!

Congrats! I remember the first week with its roller coaster ride of emotion. I will never forget the moment when my endo said 'you can start today'! It truly was the beginning of my life. Enjoy the journey!

Excited too !

Hi everyone ! I am Vincence , 19 years old , living in Belgium and I am transgender since as long as I can remember . As a kid I already was a girl but didn't really get picked on for my femininity . Growing up that changed . I know that I am transsexual since the age of 15 , came out to my parents and brother this summer , got denied for it . Now I am going to have SRS in 2 yrs.

@Vin- I don't think that I am going to do a journal yet. I am two weeks in on my HRT. Just starting out low dose right now, to see how it plays out. Sure the doc will up it up some on my first visit back. I haven't noticed any real changes. The only thing that I have noticed that is a little different, is my "grrrr" level has gone down some. Could be the hormones, could just be me.

I have felt, in the last few days, that I really want a mani/pedi.........like really bad. lol
