Karlie Ann

My name (for now, anyway) is Karlie, and I am going to be 45.  I have known since forever I wanted to be a girl. I wish I hadn't waited so long, but my life situation kept me there, and even now it makes things problematic.  Recently, my situation changed in a big way and I decided to start exploring whether this is what I really want.  For the last month, I have finally, for the first time, bought clothes that fit me and that are my own, and I am trying out being female, in the safety of my own home and all alone.  So far, I have loved every minute of it, and I hate when I have to go back to "boy mode" for work and stuff.

But it gets really really lonely, so I wanted to join a community, and so far I haven't found any support groups in my area.  So, here I am!
Your current situation is not your final destination.

Don't be sad... a lot has changed the last years, it was completely different times then... imo best to look forwards and make the best of what is now...

You might think about a good gender therapist...
a person to help you along...

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
