Hello

I'm looking into getting private health insurance cover. I've never had health insurance before so it's kind of overwhelming. I know all the things I need to be covered for to have gender affirmation surgery but I was wondering if anyone here has had any good or bad experiences with Australian health insurance providers regarding covering trans-related health stuff.

I live in Sydney so I though this might be a good place to ask, sorry if it's not, I'm still figuring out my way around this site.   ^-^

Thanks

Hi, I had no issues with Medibank, in regards to srs and insurance in Australia there's a fair bit of info from everyone in my surgery thread

Thanks Serenation, I actually discovered that thread a couple of days ago  :) it was very helpful. I signed up for Medibank top hospital cover, they were the most affordable from the ones I looked at and it's good to hear you had no issues with them.
