I'm actually sitting here in thailand and 14 days post-op now. So I'm also occupied with the question if there'll be a futher body developemt after that surgery, maybe fat distribution or any feminization in face, butt, hips. I also ask, why i had absoluetly no shortage effects after stopping the HRT for surgery. Any other person i know had effects like flushes, headaches or other symptoms. I felt good all the time.

near killed me going off hormones, constant migraines, nausea , flushes. My endo said no more development will happen but, we will see .
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.

After SRS your body will develop more female features, you probably clearly see the change after year or two. More or less is different on everyone. Normally our body change all time, it never stay the same.

I've heard a number of times of people getting further development after SRS, even when they have been on HRT for many years and development had stopped. This includes breast growth.

What could be the reason for the fact that i had no symptoms after stopping HRT?
Any ideas?

Body should have T in it still, even after srs it takes little while to go away

Its well possible there are some effects after srs.
People reported some breast growth and in general a feminization.

I stopped HRT a few times and it took quite a while before I started feeling bad, and it wasn't that bad compared to what some people are reporting. I've not idea why the difference.

I had some more breast growth and fat redistribution, but I have no idea whether it was GRS or just time that caused it (didn't seem to happen faster/earlier than had been the case before). Congrats and good luck with your recovery!

Going off hormones for a few weeks for surgery has had no effect on me either. I got pretty irritable a few days after SRS but, I think this was from the tramadol. Also, I'm naturally kinda irritable anyway...

Hello ,

Congratulations for the surgery , it's a huge thing :)
I didn't had many days off HRT since i've started , but i am quite sure i wouldn't feel much as the hormones don't do much either . But also , the mood changes and all are not given only by estradiol directly , there are more hormones involved . For example i get hypothyroidism problems if i raise the dose too much or sudden , and the thyroid is really changing moods and thinking .
Think at menopausal women , for some it is a traumatic experience , for some it is not difficult at all .

I hope you won't let this worries and comparations clutter your mind , try to enjoy your accomplishment and post-op life . Not acceptance , as i hate that term , but controlling the mind and focusing on the beautiful parts . I didn't get much changes from Hrt , neither will i ever pass , yet i have learnt to let go .
There is no right or wrong , more or less , we just have what we have and we can make a happy life with it .

After two months the body still has not completely changed from before.

It takes a few months more to change over.
Its like starting hrt... after two months what are the results...

And results are individual... have some patience...
did you have your levels tested yet ?
  •

How should i test my levels? I cant walk and i cant sit? Maybe the next weeks ...

On the other side i know and i feel that my testo-level is too high. My skin is very rough, my face looks not good, my body hair is growing like never before. I may have to take Androcur the next years to have feminine levels. Thats a desaster ... and its called "my life". Whhowww!

I never had any major changes with HRT, why i should get any after SRS?
I'm waiting since 3 years for anything ... even my hair is not growing. After2 years it stopped - and that was all. Nothing happens, nowhere. Sometimes i cant believe it for myself. Tonnes of medical stuff goes in and nothing happens. The only thing ive felt in that 3 years is the pain of my surgeries.

Well its possible after srs the glands are telling to produce as much testo as possible.
This should go down after some time.
Do you take estrogen already ?
You might also think about adding bioidentical progesterone...
it might help with feminization and have some anti androgen effects:

Yes i have estrogen since 1 week after surgery and progesterone too, like the last years. I couldnt remember any positive effect of progesterone - makes no difference to me.

Laura_7

Is it bioidentical progesterone ?
It should be capsules.

Do you take it continously or do you cycle ?

Hello Everyone, I was on HRT 8 months when undergoing SRS.  Sure hope I did not cheat myself out of further feminization.  Why would it stop?

Thank you,
Anne
