I appreciate everyone's honesty.

I would like to have biological children because my father died several weeks ago and I am an only child. I would like a piece of my father to continue in this world through my children.

I ask you again; why do you worry so much about others? I'm sorry to hear that your father died, but wouldn't he just been glad to see you become happy? You can make a 'piece' of your father continue in this world through various other means; teach other people the wisdom and positive things of your father that helped you. It's up to yourself to make that 'piece' survive, not your children. Again, just me two cents.

I think that when it comes to hormones, this is a decision that you have to make. Do you choose to take hormones, then you should accept the fact that you will become sterile over time. However, it would seem to me that seeing how you're still struggling with the idea you're probably not ready for it yet.

I found a doctor in Mexico who would only charge me $5000 for breast augmentation, FFS and a trachea shave.
I am sorry, but his is insanity!!!!!!!! $5,000 for all three?? OMG tell me you are not serious??  :o :o :o

Fact is you will be horribly disfigured or dead when this is over. BA, FULL FFS and TRACH SHAVE for $5,000? NO reputable surgeon anywhere is even close to this abomination price wise. Oh God!  :o

Well you might do some research.
What kind of breast implants...
what includes ffs...
how are the trach shave results...

Its a bit like buying clothing.
Its possible to buy cheap clothing but not being very happy with it over time.
Its also possible to buy a few good examples and have some quality over time.
Thus the hint to a rhinoplasty... which can already change much...
and is sometimes even not necessary given some waiting time...
same for ba... some people use bioidentical progesterone and bioidentical estrogen and have good results.
Quite a few people report avoiding conical breasts with bioidentical progesterone.
And they are all natural, sensitive and making their wearers happy.

Same for a trach shave. Looking at results might help.
And good surgeons have far less complications with voice.

So... choosing wisely a few but good pieces might be an idea.

Well many people do without ffs at all... months of hrt might do...
and I read 30 percent of women have an adams apple so a trach shave might not be absolutely necessary  :)
Well... its up to each person...

*hugs*

I haven't had FFS but I may have it in a couple years. I have no visible Adam's apple either.

I believe that in Holland, the possibility to have your sperm frozen is even a standard part of the procedure. I already have a son who is almost sixteen (who loves me for transitioning), but this question became more urgent to me, when my best friend requested me to become her sperm donor before transitioning. So we have a time frame between now and next February. After that I will start with HRT, which will already impact my fertility.

A few weeks ago we tried reproduction in the "ahem" natural way, but this became a complete failure because I couldn't be excited by her anymore, even while not yet being on hrt. So we planned three appointments in a German IVF clinic between now and February and will have my sperm frozen too.
