Will this fix itself or am I doomed?

Hey all, it's been a while since I was on the forum!

Anyway, I had a double incision on September 1st, so a month and three weeks ish??

I've been healing pretty nicely, but I have a small issue
I was told by my surgeon that once the scabs on my nipples were gone they would look kinda concave, but would eventually "peek out"
The issue is that ONE of them has, but not the other!
And the one that hasn't peeked is literally concave
Am I stuck with one inny and one outy forever??

Hey bud,

Would you mind posting a pic so I can be sure what you're talking about?

Both of mine were completely flat for a while. One has some low spots on it due to scabs not coming off cleanly. It took a few months for mine to pop up and not look flat anymore.

Can't get ya any pics but that sounds reassuring!
One of my nipples is pokin out a little like they're meant to, the other has sort of a dent in the middle?

Yeah, it sounds a lot like what happened with mine. These are mine at basically 6 months:

The top one is the one with cratering. You can kind of see the discoloration on the left side. I'm giving myself until 10 months to decide if any revisions are necessary, but I actually really like the way my nips have turned out. So if I go back, it won't be because of them.

If it makes you feel any better mine are kind of wonky looking and i'm 4 months and a week post op. I'm gonna ask my surgeon about it when I get time to go up for my visit. Here are the pics.. My right side is really weird looking to me and my left side is a little puffy. I'm just glad that I actually have nipples now :P

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

Off topic - RaptorChops, have you talked to Dr. Fischer at all about a revision yet? I was going to give mine as much time as possible to level out and try to lose some weight as well. I can't decide if I can live with what looks to be extra tissue on my sides, or if I want it gone. I haven't been up there since I got my drains out.

I haven't had any time to go up for a follow up. She wanted me to come back this month but I haven't had any time. I'm gonna try and get an appointment within the next few weeks.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

I think your nipples look good. My nipples healed in a similar manner. One healed more flat/concave and the other with a small almost nipple. I came to terms with not having nipples that resembled the was used to. So I pierced my nipples which I find not only looks good but also makes them look more "nipple" like to me.
