Does anyone know if Trans women  can get a clit piercing (vch)after recovering from surgery?

Considering the danger of necrosis in the neo clitoris I would be very cautious.

If you did decide to do so I would wait a considerable time - years. The capillary healing takes ages and the danger of nerve damage just makes me cringe!

I agree.  If you have to have piercing there, a good piercing would be a safer choice

Does it have to be a piercing ?
There is clit jewelry, you might look into those instead.

Its also stimulating and can be taken off.

this is just my own personal opinion with no reflection on anyone else , but it's a concept I could never grasp.

I think she means "hood" not "good"... ;)

Personally I'd follow Cindy's advice, you want to avoid doing something that could damage the tissue before it fully heals, no matter how long that may be.

I agree with the responses, I would wait until you fully heeled.

A friend of mine, has a clit piercing (ok she is cis-female).. she said a bumpy road, is your best friend.

The idea appeals to me, and I would like to get one, but I don't have the guts. Then again I can use the excuse.. I am almost two years post op.. too soon...

Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

There is underwear and jewelry with clit stimulation (I'd look for good quality).
You might try that first without getting something permanent and possibly hurtful to apply.

The clit itself is very sensitive for a cis woman and many get a piercing above the clit so as to not interfer with a clit nerves and still get some feeling next to it.  You may want to think about doing that too.

I second the existing suggestions to wait until you're fully healed. At 3+ years post-op I'd be comfortable doing this if I really wanted to, but probably not much before - and I'd definitely think twice about the risk of damaging the nerves by piercing the clit directly.

Plus, depending on surgeon and personal anatomy, the clit's ability to get erect may be somewhat different than a cis woman's (that is, larger/more erectile tissue/erectile tissue in unexpected places) and a piercing could compromise blood flow if not expertly placed by someone who actually understands the underlying anatomy and how it may differ.

However, since you're talking about VCH, I think it's all good. :) Once fully healed up, that should be safe.
