I am sick and tired of this bullsh*t argument about perverted men taking advantage of trans friendly legislation in order to access women's spaces legally to facilitate committing sex crimes.
These idiots have already defeated their own argument by presenting it in the first place. The premise revolves around the notion that the potential perpetrators are perverts. Cisgender perverts. They want to keep cisgender sex offenders out of women's spaces by preemptively punishing the entire transgender community because of the perceived potential threat by people who are not transgender. They can be presented with statistics all day long that show transgender people are not even remotely a threat, but they are still bent on punishing us because we are still perverts in their puny minds no matter what the facts actually say, even when they fully admit that we are not the ones committing these crimes.
I also have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of rapists being deterred from committing a felony in a ladies' bathroom or locker room while claiming to be transgender because someone made it a freaking misdemeanor for them to be in that space in the first place. Really? Do people who commit crimes with guns think twice about it when the gun isn't registered?
And yes, haters, you still get to share your bathrooms with people who have same-sex attractions and there isn't a damned thing you can do about it.
Oh, and if you bathroom bill pushers get your way, be careful what you wish for, because fully transitioned transmen will be coming shortly to a bathroom near your wives and daughters. That's what you wanted, right? *wink*
