I'm always looking for more comic books and online comics too!
Personally, I'd recommend the kate bishop and hawkeye comic  ;D
It's currently my favourite.

"Sandman" by Neil Gaiman

the beginning may seem a bit weird, but it's a great story.

I have so many Marvel superhero comics I could rec (I love Matt Fraction's take on Kate Bishop and Clint Barton too!), but instead, let me suggest two that are ever-so-slightly off that path: Locke & Key, which is a spooky, Lovecraftian fantasy-horror comic from IDW, and Stumptown, a modern private eye comic set in my old 'hood, Portland, Oregon.

Oh yeah Marvel comics are a good choice, too. The older ones are great classics.

Nice Avatar btw. Captains

"Blame!" by Tsutomu Nihei

It's by far my favorite "comic" (manga). Do yourself a favor and look into it.

Lets see SAGA, The original Runnaways run, Y the last man, and the very recent shortish Loki Agent of Asgard. Also the last young avengers run had some great moments and more LGBT characters than you can shake a stick at I mean the team leader is either a pansexual, gender fluid god/goddess or a young woman born in a "Magical Lesbian Utopia" I quotated that because as far as I can tell every word of it is literal truth.

What is a Lie when it's at home? Anyone?
Is it the depressed little voice inside? Whispering in my ear? Telling me to give up?
Well I'm not giving up. Not for that part of me that hates myself. That part wants me to wither and die. not for you. Never for you.  --Loki: Agent of Asgard

Yes, it is, only for for a short time though.

There is a tranwoman in it but as Bavarian said only for a short time. Though The Sandman is very "out there" in it's story line what happens to that transwoman at the very end is both heartbreaking and realistic. I'm sure it's happened to hundreds of transwoman and I sure hope my own family would not do me like that.
