Bloomberg/by John Tozzi October 26, 2015 — 6:45 AM CDT Updated on October 26, 2015 — 9:06 AM CDT

"Eating processed meats is a cancer hazard, and red meat probably is too, according to the World Health Organization.

The news adds meat to the list of nearly 1,000 suspected carcinogens that the agency has evaluated since the 1970s. Processed meats, including sausages and bacon, were labeled carcinogenic to humans. Red meat, including beef, pork, and lamb, was labeled probably carcinogenic to humans."

Oh well.  Eat well, stay fit, die anyway.

Did you know that life is the leading cause of death?

I haven't had a ribeye for a long time, very rare . I'm lucky I'm older , less time to worry about it.

Seems like everything causes cancer these days. Probably because less things are killing us before we can actually get cancer.

*Eats ham sandwich*
Woooo! Living dangerously!

Ribeye is really good for bulgogi, stop it...

I had a choice of living on either hot-dogs and bacon or pizza and beer. I chose the latter.

Processed meats being linked to cancer is very old news, about 5 years now. Ten or more amongst the organic/heath food crowd. TBH if you dared to read the list of ingredients on a package of hot dogs you'd make a once or twice a year treat at best. OTOH bacon..... You only live once, right? Plus what's a quiche w/o bacon? And what's that old saying about kitchens and sausage  ;D

Just more proof that Moore's Law (If more is good then too much is just right) should not be a life style choice
