Being on capsules daily for 8 months,  I am NOT sure if it is the Prometrium - progesterone capsules, but I am in ZOMBIE mode exhaustion. I spoke to my nurse and she said it could be my dosages.

She asked me to come in but I so tired (zombie) that even taking the bus out there is absolutely draining.

Has any one else seemed to notice being exhausted on Prometrium - progesterone capsules?

I am going to do a test and stay off the Prometrium - progesterone capsules for over a month and see what happens.

I really am in zombie mode, being so tired.

Has any one experienced this with Prometrium - progesterone capsules?

I have been on two a day dosage since the beginning but did not really notice any adverse tiredness until they recently doubled my spiro.

I have slept very well with the prometrium though.  It's like being a teenager again LOL.

I have sleep issues already but the last 6 months have been aweful.

The nurse did say that it could be the Prometrium?

And I am so tired that I can't get the motivation to go do blood work.

I had issues for the first few weeks but they eventually stopped. The very first doses actually caused euphoria then came the drowsiness. Now I don't have any side effects. I've been on it for 13 months.

Some people react to progesterone with tiredness.
Thats why some people take it in the evening.

Maybe there could be a small or no dose given in the morning.

Another thing might be to try to cycle progesterone, for ten days, fourteen days or twenty days for example.

I take Microgest, a micronized progesterone, and it makes me so tired I go to bed as I'm worried about falling out of my chair. That only lasts for a short time, but I don't usually take it in the morning, even though my endo says its best twice a day. I take the other before bed, and there's no problems there. It best twice a day as blood levels drop quite quickly otherwise.

You could try a progesterone implant.

According to literature intramuscular implantation helps against extrusions.

Well one drawback might be steady levels... some people might react with a feeling of being bloated...

but upsides are no sleepiness and no hassle with pills...

It may not even be related to the HRT - have you considered your iron levels or other issues?

I take it in the evening too, but I feel the tiredness only at higher doses.   Maybe you are on a dose that's too high for you?

I get tiredness on the dosage that gives me an ideal blood levels so I didn't think of reducing it. That's a good idea and I'll try it.

I am not a doctor and you may want to call your doctor.

You may want to have your blood pressure checked. Low blood pressure can cause fatigue.

Spiro is a diuretic and you need to eat salt and drink water.

I've taken high doses and don't feel tired.

There is no such thing as ideal blood levels of progesterone and besides, levels vary alot with progesterone from one hour to the other. The ideal dose will vary from one person to another and some may not even need it at all. The ideal dose is the dose that makes you feel the best and has the best outcome physically.

Most take it at night I think and sleep through the side affects. I am a night owl so I noticed a few things about it.

Depending on how active you are after your dose will affect how quickly you feel it. I've taken it and then went to workout and had to quit because of how light headed I became. The closest feeling I can connect it to is what it felt like taking 2 Vicodin when my wisdom teeth were pulled.

When I'm more stationary after I take it it can take 2-3 hours before I feel the side effect. When I work out it hits much faster sometimes just 30-40 minutes if your blood is pumping. It makes me lose so much coordination that I make sure to take it after physical activities not before.

Your "zombie mode" description sounds a lot like your dosage isn't perfectly balanced yet so definitely consult Doctor

Yes I think it was just my normal exhaustion from lack of sleep for the past 25 years.
