This pic of me was taken accidentally, so it's a pretty natural pose as a result.

I seem to pass, but fairly inconsistently. Maybe I do pass a bit more than not, but I'm not making it easier for myself by being so butch. Posted here for a reality check. Maybe I'm just imagining this passing business?

You definitely pass to me at first sight, but upon closer inspection I can see why *maybe* there are inconsistencies with your passing. But if I hadn't known you were trans, I would definitely gender you female in public. :)

Aww thank you :D I sort of worry about my face being too big and being 6 foot tall! lol.

I'm also 6 foot tall, I think. I'm 1.88 meter. I notice more and more women in public that are around my length, which is comforting to see. Although I do understand your worries.

Hem. Honnestly ? Can't see anything other than a girl in boy's clothes.

I bet you're getting gendered female all day long, ain't you ? ^^"

Honestly I'm not. That's why I'm asking. I have friends that were being gendered female in boymode at like 6 months on hrt, yet I haven't and it scares me. I'm the odd one out of the group and I don't want to be the one that looks obviously trans.  :'(

I don't see any guy in the picture. Dressing in public doesn't mean dressing up in mini skirt. Try going out in a simple straight cut jeans and some nice andro top w/ cardigan. I swear no one will mis-gender you :)

Stay beautiful xo

I get that. In not really into skirts or anything that girly but even in more androgynous clothes, I still don't think I'll get gendered female, but I'm willing to try it

Heyyyyy, I'm living fulltime now, haven't had a first doctor visit yet, but what do you gals think? The hair is a wig btw, until my natural hair grows a bit more

Ok I think I got this posting pics directly to my post thing down now. This is me, boy-mode, pre-HRT, post-losing 100 lbs. Not sure if I have any hope of ever passing.

Edit - maybe I don't have it down. Sheesh.

It's weird because you've entered the image links and everything correctly.. You can always "preview" posts before posting to see if links work! That's what I do!

my everyday look. --zero glamour, but it's efficient. To work out / tidy my flat, at least. haha.

ps, are we allowed to post tasteful underwear shots? I'm kinda proud of a couple of them :p
Sorry but nude and underwear are not permitted. Standard outerwear and swim suits are permitted. The line is drawn if you can wear it in public, it is permitted. If you wear it in private, it's not permitted.

I fixed your links. The problem is you can't use the page, you have to use the picture. Move the pointer over the picture and right click, select copy link and place that between the bracketed images. You can quote my post to see how this was done.

KathlynBG, I think hormones will do great things for you. The curse of gaining weigh many be a blessing because softness/fat in your face should redistribute in a more feminine direction. I was all skin and bone so I didn't have much fat to shift. As far as hair, I would stay away from long hair and go with chin to shoulder length hair. Cover about half your forehead to shorten your face, You can do that by pulling hair off to the side or with bangs. I can't wait to see you after 6 months to a year on HRT.

As for passing, you haven't see my before pictures. One of these days I may work up the nerves to post them here.

Rachel, your coming along nicely. Your link for whatever didn't show anything so for the moment I have put it between the url option so the link could at least show up so others can see the picture. Hugs

Thank you! I hope what you say is true. It's hard to tell from the pictures but I'm in the process of growing my hair out a bit and I'm going for the "pulling hair off to the side" look, though I absolutely adore the thought of bangs.

Well I'm starting to get better at doing my makeup. Less is more is my latest discovery and I'm lacking eyeliner and mascara in this shot but I think it looks quite nice. I'm still pre-everything and have a loooong way to go but I'm starting to become more comfortable with my feminine look.

Just waiting on that referral letter now! Bring on the estrogen :-D
