If anyone takes hormones, like a male-to-female transgender person, can they experience more female strengths like better peripheral vision or other small things?

I have gained many female superpowers:

- Shopping for clothes, shoes and jewellery without ever getting bored
- Emotional perception way beyond the grasp of mere males
- Men want my body (I count that as an ability)
- Aptitude for tidying up my space and that of others
- Talking to other women about everything
- Heightened sense of smell
- Multiple orgasms

The list goes on and on.

SRS further extends it a bit.

Its possible imo behaviour and feeling shift more towars intuitive-emotional...

people report a heigthened sense of smell,
some report a better vision... there was a study showing red colours might be more pronounced...

some people report a shirinking in size, and also in shoe size... theory has it its due to a shrinking in tissue betweeen bones...

well here are some more changes... all changes are individual...
1–3 months after  starting estrogen
                  • softening of skin
                  • decrease in muscle mass and increase in body fat
                  • possible redistribution of body fat to a more "feminine" pattern
                  • fewer instances of waking up with an erection or spontaneously
                    having an erection;
Gradual changes
                  • nipple and breast growth
                  • slower growth of facial and body hair
                  • slowed or stopped "male"-pattern balding

Probably not, sorry. Things like "women have better peripheral vision" are matters of statistics. That is to say: in a random group of people, women in the group on average tend to see better. Any single woman may have peripheral vision ranging from horrid to exceptional. If you, yourself, have excellent peripheral vision -- congratulations! You're pushing the curve upwards. If you don't, though, it's unlikely to change.

Basically, there are no traits essential to womanhood. That's why there are women of all shapes, sizes, personalities and interests. Don't get me wrong, obviously estrogen (and anti-androgens) lead to differences in the body. It's just that stuff like "women tend to be more susceptible to ACL injury" are unlikely to change with the application of estrogen post-puberty.

Heh. I'm male and I'm a notorious pack rat. So I guess it is correct.

I now experience the world through the emotional center in the brain first and foremost. Not too thrilled with that at the moment to be honest. It's been a rough few weeks with some pretty awful coincidences in timing. But hey, at least the dysphoria's reduced dramatically. Just hope it doesn't come back when the rest of my life calms down.

Similar experiences, here. Tasks like housework and cleaning are less unpleasant. No clue why. It's easier for me to experience feelings of affection, especially toward children and animals. I am more moved by beauty.

I also discovered I have feminine intuition, but I think that's been going on long before hormones - I just haven't listened to myself in the past.

I notice everything :)

Oh wow.  I'd better wear clean underwear tomorrow!

I think low libido is a superpower.  My mom, and several males, have (judgmentally) asked me how long it takes to paint my nails (answer: a few minutes; this is really really easy, folks).  I don't tell them that I could do my nails every day and never come near the time I've saved by not masturbating.  Or... when I feel horny and I get flirty with my wife, but she's not in the mood?  Not only am I okay with that, but my body is okay with that too.   Also... I gain immense satisfaction just from being emotionally close.  That satisfaction builds up and makes our next sexual encounter that much sweeter.

Yep... special abilities!!!

The ability to forget things, the ability to back my car into things because apparently my distance perception has gone to crap, the ability to cry at everything no matter how stupid because emotions, and the ability to scream "OW!" every time something hits me in the chest.

Special female abilities, ACTIVATE!!!

In all seriousness, yes, I do feel like I'm experiencing the world in more vivid color and emotion. I'm not sure if this is really gender-specific, as trans guys often report the same thing, so it's possible that it's just a matter of getting the right juice into your brain's hormone receptors, gender notwithstanding, but yeah, things definitely felt muted before. I described my life before transition as "dull grey drear" mode. It's like, I was seeing things, and living, and doing things, but it didn't really bring me joy, it felt like life itself was somehow muted so that pleasurable things weren't as pleasurable, painful things weren't as painful. It felt like I was experiencing my life through an emotional fog. I'm not sure if my color vision or hearing or anything of that nature actually got better, but I do know that once I was on HRT it was the first time in a very long time that such sensory experiences had any effect on me. Like, I loved music before, but I had never REALLY heard music. I'd seen a beautiful meadow before, but I had never REALLY seen it. That was the feeling.

An ability to Admin the Forum without screaming at people, well not too often ::)

I'm not on T yet, but with my natural abilities I can multi-task AND read a map well.

Maybe you already have both "super powers" because pre transition trans people may be be sort of... in between genders mentally. Perhaps we develop with the tendencies of both genders, some in the brain and some as a result of natural hormones being pumped into our system.

I noticed I'm typically good a wide range of things, be they typically masculine or feminine traits or activities. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a trans thing.

I'm not sure if it's just age or as I get older gender matters more in the world but I've noticed a decent loss in colors I feel downgraded from 256 box of crowns to a 16 count. I'm hoping hrt helps with it

I'm losing this one also and that is probably a good thing for me, figure wise.
