Pretty sure this is the first time I have posted a picture on the site! Anyways, would love for any and all feedback. This is pre everything @ 27... Hoping to start HRT in the next few months. All of these were from the very first time I wore makeup, about a month ago - it was more difficult than I thought, lol! But in the end I was happy with the results, and it was the first time I ever looked in the mirror and liked the reflection. Some things I discovered...
- need to get rid of the beard asap. I have thick hair and a fair amount of it, and of course it is dark too! Appt tomorrow for laser quote.
- Must learn how to not get a caked or shiny look. I think the beard being removed will help alot since I need to use so dang much to cover.
- Colored lip balm looks great on the lips, but sucks as a red coloring to conceal shadow.  oops!

The obligatory 'angle' selfie:

More selfie, but less 'angle' magic:

And this was from a few nice shots I took with the DSLR. The portrait came out wonderfully, but I cropped because I feel a little self conscious about the bewbs since they are stuffed and not natural...

You're pretty convincing already. Even without the "magic angle". I'd walk right by you on the street! And wow, what a smile!
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

Looking good for a first effort Kelsey.  HRT will work wonders for you.  Work on the hair removal while it's still dark and you can do laser.  I think it will be faster and cheaper than electrolysis.  I also love the smile.  I think that smiling helps so much in passing publicly.

Thank you! Yeah, I hope my body and face reacts well to the HRT. Would be nice to knock some of the rough edges off. Honestly I am most worried about the voice aspect..
I am hoping to go a year or so without 'coming out' to most folks so plenty of time to start practicing all of the components that make it possible to 'blend' or 'pass'. Plan on talking to the wife soon, and will probably leave it at that as far as sharing with anyone else I know, unless there is compelling reasons otherwise. After talking to her (for better or worse) I will be able to have more freedom to learn, practice, and be me as much as possible. Very much looking forward to venturing out into the world and feeling comfortable in my own skin.
My name is Jordin, or you can call me Kelsey, whatever floats your boat! Don't be shy to message me if you want to talk, always up for meeting new people :)

So, when I was visiting the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, I discovered my phone's selfie-function by accident, so I mustered up all my courage and took a few snapshots. I really dislike seeing myself, but I'm curious to see how I look naturally and to see what works in my favor being feminine.

I'm also looking to do a hair transplant in the nearest future. You can't see it very well in the pictures, but I have a large forehead and mad Vegeta-fringes... XD I already had a counseling appointment at a specialized hair clinic, which made me very hopeful. Now I just need the money!

Bonus points for posing with The Nightwatch... Or something? XD Yeah, I'm an art-geek...

Still pre-everything, boy-mode, 29 yo.

I hope hormones will work their magic well on me, but only time will tell...

So I'm now at 9.5 months on low dose E.
This is me trying to do my best to present male at work.

I'm getting closer every day to male fail.  I'm beginning to get glimpses of Rachael in the mirror.
What do you think?  I would love to get your honest opinions.

Love Rachael
