Oh wow, I can relate with so many of you all! My mom is incredibly conservative and its because of her I have been forced to stay closeted around my family, friends, peers etc. in fear of upsetting her. I'm hoping to move into an apartment with my sister (who is the only family members who remotely knows) and start my gradual transition from there and hopefully go full time once I finish off freshman year of college and transfer somewhere that isn't so conservative. (I'm 18 atm)

Yesss! I had planned on isolating myself from my family at first, because I thought they would immediately disapprove,but I finally had built up enough courage to take a deep breath and go into the battlefield. the outcome was better than I imagined

I'm 21, does that count as young?? I've been living full time since I was 16 so anything you guys wanna ask about that I'm happy to answer. I will say this though; learn from my mistakes! I made a real hash of life at that time and I now have little contact with my family, not really because I'm trans but because of the way I went about it all at that time. I'd love to get to know some of you and if it helps, I'm also a teacher assistant in a special needs school and I'm in my last year of teacher training so I have plenty of experience dealing with young peoples issues xx

Done it now Sorry it took so long for me to do it! Now I've got to work out how it works haha. I've made my email skype enabled or something. I have no idea haha, gimme a little more time! I have none of that right now with the little one xx
