I had my first shot a week and a half ago and now I'm feeling drained.  Is it possible to feel the effects of being on biweekly shots as opposed to weekly shots already?  Or am I probably feeling tired for unrelated reasons?

Could be both.

Shots do tend to give people highs and lows, especially when the time period between shots is longer. Fatigue is also common at first as your body starts to get used to the hormonal shift. A lot of doctors prefer to start people at a lower than usual dose on a regular interval so that the adjustment is easier.

You could also be getting sick. Not sure where you're located, but the shifts in weather do tend to get people sick.

So it could be either one. I'd encourage you, if you're not already, to keep a journal of how you're feeling and changes you're experiencing. Take it with you to your doctor visits. It'll help you and your doctor figure out if your dose and frequency are right or if you might need to change it up.

Thank you, I will for sure keep track and let my doctor know.  I'm going to mention it when I go for my next shot.  He did say he starts with biweekly but a lot will end up switching to weekly.  I'm in Ontario so the weather has changed. A month ago was in shorts now coats....Canada

Your body is being shocked right now...
you will sleep a bit more then normal.
Your lucky as they told me that I will
be dealing with the muscle tightness for
like another month...that and I got some
of the side-effects of DEPO-Testosterone.
They said mine will clear out soon in your case
this is normal at least in the fact that it took
place with me as well. Basically I had a few days
of extreme energy and then baam 3 days of just
feeling tired and weak all the time and then by the 2nd shot
it evened out and I no longer have that problem. Also I would
recommend you write down when you get your shots mine are every
15 days.

i live in ontario too, the weather has been crazy lately. however, when i got my shot i felt kind of drained too and i was on a low dose and weekly shots. it does get better though, i think it was just the shift in hormones. if your doctor started you off on what is considered a "normal" dose, it could be a big shock to your body. as someone else said, talk to your doctor about it. if you get headaches or dizzy, you should see your doctor asap.

Thanks guys, it must have been my body adjusting because now I'm almost 5 weeks on T and didn't get that burst of energy and then tiredness with my 2nd and 3rd shot like I did with my first.
