Shana A

On this day three years ago, I started HRT.

Before starting, I had considerable fear about whether I should go forward. Within a few days though, my fears washed away, and I knew I had made the right choice.

While I have had some difficult losses in my transition, I haven't regretted it. Today I am thankful for making that profound step toward being myself, to living the reality I'd always  dreamed of and imagined. I am thankful to everyone in my community who have supported me in my journey.

I am with each of you, as you take your steps to being yourselves!

For me it's been just shy of four years. I've had the same experience - some difficult losses, a lot of adjustment, but generally a dream come true.

Thanks for keeping us up-to-date.
