"A magistrate will be asked to consider that an assault victim is a 'six-foot-six, 120kg transgender person' when he sentences a man who attacked her during a night out at the pub.

Stephanie McCarthy suffered a fractured cheekbone and eye socket after being held down and repeatedly bashed by a gang of young men at the Town Hall Hotel - known as 'the Townie' - in inner west Sydney's Newtown on the early hours of June 6."

OMG what nonsense. A "gang of young men" > one person, no matter their physical size/weight.

In addition, it seems to me that ANY attack against someone who is not willing or able to fight back is still an attack, regardless of any other factors.

...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...
