I'm no medical practitioner so please don't shout if this is slightly out but an endo told me that estrogen pills are only active for about 6 hours once taken so if you have more than 1 pill to take splitting them u makes sense for a better spread of effectiveness

That would definitely make sense with my experience then.

Wow that is so shocking but it makes a lot of sense. I'm sorry if this sounds kind of stupid but after those six hours I still have estrogen in my system but it's just lowered than before right? It's not like the estrogen completely leaves my body. However tomorrow I think I will take 1 pill in morning and one 6 hours later. Thanks for the information Sorcha :)

I take mine 12 hours apart. Seems to help and one dissolves way faster than two.

I tend to agree with Joi on this.  It is through doing bloodwork to see where your estrogen levels are at.  they must do a baseline then reheck the blood again to get an accurate reading.  You can not ask individuals on forums for this advice as each individual's body is differentand are not dr's  The blood testing for estrogen will tell whether or not you are in the female range.  Also, post op you still have to be on estrogen and a DHT blocker becuse it can take a long time for the testosterone to go down.  I am still on a small dosage of spirno

everyone's body is different haha. My Testosterone went down rather quickly ....right to 0 the first few months. My doc started worrying actually that I didn't have enough / healthy amount for a woman even. My T didn't start comign back up for almost a year.

Needless to say I never went on blockers since I had to stop them 2 weeks before GCS
