Of course, considering your earlier videos and the theory, one really shouldn't be surprised that this too was great. Even if Chomsky's linguistic theories are rather dated and, well, wrong.

By the by, you look nicely androgyne on the video. The voice is a bit on the male side, though.

Chomsky is a bit dated, and I think I hinted at i - it's a nice model though. I weren't going for nicely androgyne, I am just scared of barbers and hairdressers....

Yes, it's a nice model regardless of the details of the innate ability for language (or gender).

I had a gender studies class once where we discussed how abnormalities in the hormonal WASHING (much more palatable than "discharge") during pregnancy causes people to be intersexed and transgendered.  I have been wondering if 'androgyne' isn't caused by a similar abnormality, just not as extreme.

Well besides that, imo your theory is spot on. I never really was sure what was the cause of how I felt I was neither securely "anchored" as you call it, as a female, but I am quite sure I wouldn't feel at home as a male either, but as for the body I was born with I'm kind of indifferent. I don't hate it and I can live with it but I'm thinking maybe I wouldn't hate having a male body either. Either way I would still be around in the middle of things.

I made a gallery on my computer featuring the choicest of gurning type expressions. At least m'face muscles have exercise is all I can say.

Pica, you're my favorite fat ginger kid around. Also, I usually pronounce it andra-jine, with a soft g, but I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be said either.

Somewhat off topic, but what would an androgyne's voice sound like?

In my opinion, it would sound like a lot of old people's where if you shut your eyes and listen, you can't tell their gender.

My androgyne voice sounds baritone, but some of my inflections and way of speaking aren't very male.

I always like Pica's voice.  I've seen several Pica productions and the voice is incredibly soft and soothing.  I wish I had that voice.

there's not much we can do about our voices really...my voice is in the lower ranges for a woman, but i've never been called sir over the phone or anything...

actually, i like my voice when i hear it in my head...i HATE the way it sounds recorded. *shudder*

I do love the accent, pica...the only accent choices where I live are "none" and "southern".  I try to stick with "none" as much as possible...unless i've been drinking or cross the Georgia state line...

the accent places me very much from the south east between london and brighton -  its what happened when yokels and cockneys shared a town until there accents merged, and then i learnt it and took it away where it was weakened.

Not sure there is an androgyne voice after childhood.

I also hate the way my voice sounds recorded. It sounds a lot higher than it does in my head.
