So I am in line for two jobs as a software developer and I had a positive experience with being transgendered and them knowing I will be transitioning while I am working for them.I was honest and open in the interviews that I am trans. They said they don't mind as long as I have the skills. I thought South Africa will be super picky on this type of things.

Hope you get one of the jobs - that way you'll really know they don't have a problem.

Actually South-Africa has always been quite progressive on these things. They had a form of gender recognition process back in the 1980's long before much of Europe and the UK did.
