"An unprecedented $20 million windfall will be distributed to trans charities across the US and world.

Global philanthropic group the Arcus Foundation today announced a five-year initiative focused on improving the lives of transgender people worldwide.

Arcus will contribute $15 million to the fund, with a $1 million contribution from the NoVo Foundation and $4 million from other foundations."

That's an awful lot of money earmarked for transgender causes with very little explanation of how it's going to be spent. I wonder exactly how trans-specific initiatives are supposed to benefit.

Call me a sceptic, but I've seen this happen way too many times over the years: sizeable resources seemingly allocated to "support the transgender community" but then end up in the pockets of individuals with zero accountability.
Exceptions to the norm do not constitute a spectrum.
