Yes of course.

You are transgender if you are gender variant...

Here is a nice graph showing transgender can be used as an umbrella term:

There is no such thing as trans enough.

Look for what you are comfortable wih.
Its also a process, so it might change over time.

Pretty much the fact you are on this site makes you transgender. Transsexual indicates you want to surgically alter your gender. To complicate things even more, I am a post surgical transsexual but I no longer consider myself transsexual because the transition/surgery resolved my issues and I no longer have the desire to transition.

The term transgender indicates you are uncomfortable with your birth gender and are not CIS. It includes everything from cross dresser, non binary and transsexual.

Yes. It doesn't matter what you have between your legs. You are who you feel and think you are. There is no percentage scale on being trans that I am aware of or a ranking system.

Hi:

There is possibly another aspect of the question you raised if that's what you intended:  Whether you are legally recognized as living in the gender of prefer depends upon the legal jurisdiction you find yourself in when the question arises.  It's not a simple answer, blanket answer as you might imagine.

If this was part of your question I would suggest you Google transgender legal status + the circumstance(s) you are concerned about, e.g. marriage, passport, medical status, etc. I wish it was simpler but at this time it isn't even simple across the USA, often intrastate, and in extreme cases some foreign jurisdictions there may be serious prohibitions to be concerned about.

Best to know than than be unawares.
