Much much better like what Roni said, make the parting more obvious to make it more natural.
Powder the wig if it's too shiny. Too shiny = wig.

Wow, you haven't even gone to a salon yet? Shoot! Prepare for your hair to look even MORE natural! I would advise you to look for a salon that deals with a lot of ethnic women. Hairdressers there will typically know what to do with the parting.

Here's a youtube video showing how to make your wig and parting look natural, with the use of concealer and also blending the unit in with your natural hair. The trick is to leave some of your real hair out. Take a look:

Thank you Jessie it definitely hasn't been an easy recovery, but everything is starting to settle in now.

I am currently using the Peter Lamas Line and so far it is creating a lot of fullness and volume in my hair. Then once a week I use Jamaican Black Castor Oil for deep conditioning
