Creams on the face? DON"T DO IT! Out of curiosity, a boyfriend from a few years ago tried it on his face rather than shaving; it ate his skin. Those creams are strong enough to dissolve hair. Think what it will do to your skin.
I posted elsewhere here at Susan's how I plucked my facial hair. I began doing select areas to avoid anyone noticing a sudden appearance change. During the course of a few weeks or a month or so I was eventually doing my entire face. Full-face sessions did not take long - perhaps in an hour or so. I could do it watching TV before bed-time or bright and early on a Saturday morning. The results lasted anywhere from a few days to a week - no shadow.
Plucking before bed-time allowed my skin to settle over-night. My electrologist confirmed that plucking helpt build my tolerance for electrolysis pain and made it possible for her to use high power and zap more hairs quickly per session than if I did not have that experience.
There are epilator devises nowadays that pluck hair in a swath and can make quick work of such a tweezing session.
