Hi everyone, I'm Paige. I've been browsing Susan's for a while and finally decided to join the forums myself.

I'm an AFAB person who identifies somewhere between genderqueer and transmasculine. I started questioning my gender a couple years ago and since then have been figuring what gender and sexuality mean to me.

My expression is generally fairly androgynous, although sometimes I feel more masculine or more feminine from day to day. I experience some dysphoria and am probably looking to transition physically somehow, but I haven't decided to what degree yet.

In addition to being trans/queer, I'm also on the autism spectrum and deal with anxiety and depression. It can be challenging to co-manage the social and mental struggles I face from both experiences.

I see a psychiatrist for the mental health issues, but just recently I found a trans-friendly therapist whom I've just started to see, and it's going well so far.

I'm mostly a forum reader, not commenter, but do hope to get involved here in the Susan's community. I'm pretty introverted, but my therapist and I just talked today about not isolating myself, so I think this might be a good first step.

Welcome to Susan's Place. I am glad you decided to join us and I have a feeling that after you place a few post, you will get over your shyness. Many of us start out introverted and I was no exception but I am the living proof that and introvert can become outgoing. Here I am a moderator posting greetings to people I have never met. This is something I wouldn't have done years ago. If you need anything, let us know.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.
