Do you think you pass and is passing important for you?

I think I pass and passing is important for me
I think I don't pass and passing is important for me
It's not so important for me, but I think I pass
For me it's not so important and I don't think I pass
I don't really care

I want to hear your options, people.
1. Do you think you pass?
2. Is passing important to you?

1. I'm a non-binary, part man and part woman. I am seen that way, some people see the woman and some people see the man. This IS passing to a non-binary person. It's a very hard concept for people to understand. The usual notion of passing is that you are seen as a male or a female with no middle ground. I'd like to spread that knowledge here first in the hopes that the rest of the world will eventually learn more about all the nuances of being transgender.

2. It doesn't matter to me other than wanting everyone to be treated as equals.

1. I hope so.

2. Yes, but really I just want people to treat me the same as any other person they meet.

Some days you're the hammer, some days the nail. I don't always manage to pass but I can't really do much about that. Some people are just that much more perceptive than others.

1.Well I think I pass people don't really bat an eyelid when I walk into a shop or a place that no one knows me. I tried online dating today and from my picture I definitely pass because the people are in shock when I tell them I am transgender  :o

2.I feel like passing to me is very important I am still young and this means if I decide to complete my transition I would like to have a partner and look like a normal couple so that he does not feel uncomfortable being seen with me.

Also I have a child and I want to have more children so for them also passing is important so that people don't raise questions when we are walking somewhere and they think I am the mother.

It is sort of crap passing and having to tell a potential partner you are transgender that really sucks

Passing is very important to me.

I think I am cute at times, but I don't honestly think I pass.

I pass as myself to myself now, and that is the most important thing to me.

These days I get fewer and fewer funny looks from random strangers, but I am still more than happy to let people make themselves feel uncomfortable around me as a result of their own bigotry.

Kind of a standard response I guess.

I am very early on in my journey. I can't begin to physically pass. I think I mentally and emotionally pass.

I would love to, out of fear. I want to just get to a norm where I feel comfortable. For me right now, that would be my inner gender.

1. Yes
2. Yes

I'm sure I pass because people I know have mistaken me for my wife before. That's after sitting down and talking to them so it's not just from a distance.

It is important to me because I want people to see the authentic me rather than them putting up an act to pretend to validate me.

Am I done? Of course not. I get FFS next year and maybe then I will be done (apart from SRS). Then I will have absolutely zero doubt in how I pass.

From the pics I've seen you pass. Don't underestimate yourself.

I'm proud of being trans, and I love that!!!
BUT! I do like to pass when on the street late at night, or to just not get the wrong attention... other then that, I'm a very happy trans person! :D

xxooxx, Candi!

1. I pass, but I look way younger than my age, I look like a young boy so that is weird sometimes.
2. Often times I like to pass more as a man than as a woman even though at the moment I see myself to be quite androgynous. I still put the emphasis on my masculine side.

I seem to  :-\ Maybe people do still wonder if I am all women, but I have stopped worrying about it. Mostly  ;)

It is a joy to just be  ;D

I pass as a teen-looking boy... although I am quite a bit older than that. Vampire, eternal youth, etc.

It it not that important to me, excepting circumstances where I'd be in danger if I didn't pass, ofc. Otherwise, I've spent a lifetime being considered "weird" and "unique". I'm not worried if that continues.

I do my best. I just love wearing dresses so much I want to glide through streams of people without harassment. I also love my growing breasts and how I'm finally after so many years  able to look good in a dress.

passing is extremely important to me, but i don't pass.  so i just stay indoors and don't talk to anyone, pretty much.

I think I pass quite well the best affirmation of that is when out with my Wife we get hello Ladies and My Wife cringes LOL. But I can go about My usual business with no sign of being clocked that I notice . As to it being Important I would not say important but does definitely make life easier and more comfortable for Me to be seen as the gender I really am inside
The girl inside is just as important expecially to Yourself :)

I really don't like the idea of passing at all. I really believe it's a harmful concept. Don't 'pass' as something, just BE, be you. Don't live to conform to the perceptions of bigots.
