This was a major step for me. I had told a few people that I knew I could trust, but when it came to one of the owners I was very unsure how to move forward. She had made some nasty comments about Caitlyn Jenner, so I figured she wouldn't be understanding at all. She actually was very respectful to me though and said it would be nice to see how I change over the months. She asked me if I still wanted to keep it "secret" and I told her that I didn't care who knows at this point. It's going to be hard to disguise the changes, especially once I start facial hair removal next month. I'd also like to feel comfortable if I want to dress for work in the future. Now I just need to come out to my dad. I asked my brother, sister and aunt to come as my support when I talk to him.

Anyway, I just really happy about this :)

That is awesome!!! I was worried about the samething when I came out to my boss. She was awesome about it tho. She had made it clear she didn't like Caitlin as well. So I was worried. After her and I talked I asked her about it. She had told me she didn't like that she was put on a pedestal and that it wasn't fair to all the girls who are facing so much in their own transition. I just wish we lived in a world where everyone would be accepting and say oh our transgendered? That's cool your cis? That's cool too. I guess a girl can dream...........

That's basically the same thing my boss said about Caitlin after we talked further on the subject. So it's not a problem with trans individuals, it's just an issue with Caitlin. And yes, I feel liberated :)

I felt the same thing. I just came out to my sister ( who is cis and she is gay) she was taken back but she started saying that she should have been born first lmao. So for everyone has been accepting and it's a big relief. I know that telling my mother might not go so smooth........... I have a feeling she will hit the roof.
