If you are concerned go and see a Doc, particularly if there is heavy bleeding. It may be nothing, but if you are worried you need to set your mind at eases.

Bleeding and pain... usually two things together that would indicate a bit of a problem. Maybe you are dilating to deep or too hard or, if you're having "happy fun times" (alone or with a dude) possibly it's overly vigorous? Anyway, maybe you just need to go a bit more gently with yourself internally, but if it persists or worsens or does anything that makes you concerned then get to a doc ASAP.

I was 4 months post-op and I had some bleeding when I changed lube, it was very light bleeding but I had had none previously. The lube (Sylk) was highly recommended but after six weeks I was more swollen than before and the dilator had small traces of blood on it and in my pantyliners afterwards. Within a week of switching to a different lube most of the swelling was gone and the blood was noticeably down. Now, a month later, I have no blood at all so I will not be switching back.

Well you might think about seeing a gyn.

This might be an idea:

I then got from a health food store a probioitic designed for the vagina and is inserted into the vagina.  It will fix the vagina flora. You'll get some discharge after from the pill dissolving, and you'll use it for a few days, laying down and inserting it at night.

That pill made a huge difference. I smell and taste amazing. I feel healthier down there and all over. I self-lube better. And I haven't had any re-occurring yeast infections or BV.  I swear by this product! I've read on other forms about it, which other people also swear by -- I've read stories of women having problems for 10 years and taking a vaginal probiotic stopped it.

This is from another posting:
In the UK they are sold as INTRAFRESH over in the US they are FEMINA FLORA. In Australia / NZ I imagine there will be another name wich you will have to find - Google "Probiotic Vaginal Pessaries"
...
After the three months (after srs) is up the healing is all done and you no longer need the iodine so you can switch to the probiotics quite safely. They work well too!

Additionally some people use coconut oil for dilating.
It has antiviral properties and has very small molecules which might help soften the tissue.
You might look if dilators are oil resistant (usually they should be), and in case of using condoms use non latex ones.

I would have a doctor take a look, I had regular checkups early on and I had two problems. There was an infection and some proud flesh that needed treatment. Blood early on is pretty normal but at 9 months, most of the healing should be finished and you shouldn't be bleeding with normal treatment. I had a gynecologist do my follow up because the nearest surgeon needed a couple of hours of air travel to reach.
