I have a feeling my transition is going to take off  exponentially . Everything is good to go and things are looking up. How are others thoughts about a new year.

Hard to predict. The big thing I'm working on is to be able to accept being single and not having people interested in dating me. I've been working on that for about three months now, and have not made the progress I want to. I'm still feeling like a piece of trash that the dating world tossed into wastebasket of humanity.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

To be honest I don't know. 4 months on family is still trying to pretend it isn't happening and use wrong pronouns and deadnames me all the time. They might be a lost cause in all this.

On a personal level things are going well at least. On the HRT journey at last and I have no trouble being full time. Most important of all I feel like I'm finally myself.

I'm hoping to be able to schedule time with a therapist and start to see how deep the rabbit hole goes.

As I wrote elsewhere, I have an appointment with my therapist on the 5th and we will be writing my HRT letter to fax to the endocrinologist.  So it's looking good.  I was going to send my coming out letter to family at the end of January but that may have to be postponed a month.

Depends how much material the surgeon has to....*slaps self*

This year is gonna be wonderful! Only thing I have planned for my transition is to lose 10 lbs in the next couple months, and to work on my femme voice.
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

I don't think were we're waste basket material just yet, I've been alone for 40 years and there is still  unbelievably a flicker of hope.

If length translates to depth, then shallow it will be!   :D

I found some material my former male self wrote about 8 years ago...he wanted 50-60 lbs gone too. I decided that 2015 will be different...I'm not hoping to lose 60 lbs, I'm gonna lose 10lbs (at a time). After the first 10, I'll aim for the second ten. That way I make several small victories every so often, and hopefully will keep me motivated.

I'd be good if I could loose about a LB a week for a year then I'd be where I need to be
