Capital Hill Times/By Genesee Martin   12/30/2015

"Advocate, activist, author and transgender rights supporter Jamison Green spoke to a capacity crowd at the Capitol Hill Library on Monday, having recently released his second book,

"Making the Case for Transgender Health and Rights."

Green is the president of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), which changed its name from the Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association in 2006. Green said the new name more accurately reflects what the organization represents."

Thank you Mr. Green. Not sure if he's cis or just a good ally, but we need people like this giving our community a voice.

Unfortunate that he represents the organization that perpetuates the paternalistic RLE standard for obtaining surgery.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?
