I wonder how they will like working for a transsexual?

This is just too funny.  My boss at work is having surgery and left me in charge of the group for the next three days.  A group of very conservative and what I would describe as redneck but very skilled tradesmen.  And I'm pretty sure are transphobic haters.  This week is going to be very interesting to say the least.

Hey Boss,

just treat them with the utmost of respect and care demonstrating how you would like to be treated?  Kill em with kindness, its hard to bitch about dying that way ;D

Enjoy the power trip and know you are TS and much more.

As of managing anyone just be respectful, nice, and lead by example.
In a working force it should be cut and dry of how anyone should treat anyone. They should have enough dignity to be respectful, as long as you are respectful to them. But I know some people may not have this simple, yet constuctive mindset. I wish the best for you.

My life motto: Wake Up and BE Awesome!

"Every minute of your life that you allow someone to dictate your emotions, is a minute of your life you are allowing them to control you." - a dear friend of mine.

Stay true to yourself no matter the consequence, for this is your life, your decision, your trust in which will shape your future. Believe in yourself, if you don't then no one will.

Honestly - I'm a middle manager and it has been a mixed bag. But I notice it's more along the line of people don't want to be subordinate to a woman rather than Trans.

You'll do fine. And if anything, they may respect you more once it is done.

Honey is always better than vinegar, when addressing your worker bees :)

Though, that being said, don't allow yourself to get pushed around, be firm yet understanding, and tough but compassionate. Did I just say a few things that sound paradoxical? I'm sure. It's not an easy thing to balance, but you can do it!

Make us proud :) :)

Resist the temptation to issue a memo notifying that the dress code will include "Feminine Friday."  LOL.  :eusa_naughty:
