My wife has been having some stomach pains and other problems lately.  Her gastroenterologist had ordered an abdominal and pelvic CT scan which was done this morning.  We had barely gotten home and they called wanting her in the office at 1:45.  Turns out she has an enlarged appendix and we have to see the surgeon on Thursday.  But she also has some anemia and they are thinking she may have an ulcer which wouldn't be surprising as stressful as it's been for her being on Session and dealing with the Presbytery wanting to close our church.  So prayers and/or positive thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and bless her, this morning she told me that no matter what problems she's having, we will not let it interfere with me starting HRT.  She's feeling bad and thinking of me.   She's an angel.

BeverlyAnn,

That all sounds so scary. Sorry you two are going through this.  My wife was on session for two terms lately and certainly appreciate the stress that adds. We too are Presbyterian. You would think church is to help you feel better. However, with the daily operation of churches and trying to keep up with the world and shrinking congregations... it is tough.

Sending thoughts and prayers.

With warmth,

Joanna

BeverlyAnn praying for you and your lovely wife.  What a peach of a woman only thinking about your needs while she is suffering so. '

Take care!

Well they ended up keeping her overnight.  She was so groggy even five hours after surgery she just couldn't stay awake so they didn't want to let her come home.  When she was awake for a few seconds she was babbling all kinds of things.  Thought she was going to out me to the nurse there for a second. :)
