Hey everyone, curious if anyone knows anything or can direct me to any good resources on anti-trans (especially anti-FTM) discrimination in Belgium, specifically Brussels? I hope to live there after my transition and (hopefully) start a new life there...
I know that in Europe it generally tends to be safer than in the USA, if any of the statistics I've read are correct, but I would love to hear from folks from Belgium or who have visited Belgium about their experiences there as a trans person.

I'm living in Belgium . Brussels is our capital and tends to be the better educated and multicultural side of Belgium . We only have one gender clinic in Belgium and that is in Ghent . LGB issues are fairly well accepted here in Belgium but there are few trans people here . Lesser than in the USA over a same surface . The country is small but accepting . I didn't get any hate when going out en femme . I know other trans women who didn't experience hate either . The same would most likely apply for trans men . The most LGBT friendly country in Europe is the Netherlands .

Good luck to you and prepare for a boring , grey climate here :-)

I'm genderqueer MAAB .
