Here is a response I posted elsewhere online to the question being raised -- is it empowering or not -- for a trans lady to be a contestant in a Pageant. Well, I certainly found it empowering. I am all over Google as a result of being a Pageant Contestant and I appeared in nationwide newspapers as a result of being a Pageant Contestant and I was on Internet TV and national TV Channel 4 as a result of being a Pageant Contestant. And i'm way older than 25. EMPOWERING. I hope that if you disagree with me on this issue that you reply will be civil. Thank you. xx

I'm not sure I'd call not being discriminated against empowering if that's what you mean. I'd call it equality. Congrats though I'm sure it was a blast.
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.

I don't really like pageants, so they wouldn't be empowering to me. I think people should do whatever boosts their own confidence, though, since it is a rare resource of life. If it helps you, who am I to argue? Good for you!

Because its genetic makeup is irregular, it quickly changes its form due to a variety of causes.

YES thank you that is excellent to say we should go for things that boost our confidence. For me a Pageant is one thing that does this. For you then it isn't a Pageant but another nice thing. For a 3rd person it is something different. This is great. xx
