Okay so before i bring this up, id like to put it out there that this post is supposed to be discussing the idea of the product line, not necisarily the company doing it. I dont want to start a 6 page thread on how the people coming up with this suck. So please if we could just focus on the actual topic thatd be nice.

Anywho-- Packer Locker put out a survey today about some future products they may look into. One of those products might be a line of lingerie targeted for the trans masculine community. From the survey Im guessing that its like sexy boxers and costumes and stuff with built in pouches or inserts or whatever.

Now my question is, what do you guys think of this?

I love sexy boxies and would totally dig if they were made for my packer. But im a little concerned about how these "costumes" or whatver else might benefit those who havent had top surgery. In my head i see a bunch of lace and firefighter outfits. So im not sure how this would still be appealing to those who maybe arent as body confident or havent had top surgery yet.

I think its a good concept but would like to see some ideas before getting my heart set on it. I emailed them asking for more details on this concept and will post when i receive a reply.

Would not be interested in anything of the sort. Plus I think Packer Locker is awful.

I'm just speaking for myself here, but to me "FTM lingerie" is an oxymoron. The very word "lingerie" stirs up negative feelings for me, as it's entirely associated with femininity. No department store anywhere has a section called "men's lingerie."

I'm severely not interested in any such product line.

There is actually sites that already do lingerie for men but more for like 'male build' people who want to wear lingerie. Personally I'd sooner buy from them or from the women's section if I wanted lingerie than from packer locker. Packer locker really isn't to be trusted.

This.  The thread title really creeped me out.

Some of the male lingerie on the market is pretty hot. It's not a term confined to femininity at all. Everyone likes being sexy!  :)

This.

I knowmy fellow Tranmen are extremely trigger sensitive when it comes to a word being used but gosh. If you are secure in your masculinity the word shouldn't make a difference. If the product is good that's all that (should) matter. I'd rock some sexy macho lingerie like a boss. Now if Packer Locker as a company isn't good I have issues there.

I hope I'm not intruding where I don't belong. I'm obviously , I hope ,an MTF. I must admit when I saw this title  and I think there was a news article that had a similar title that I didn't post because of the word lingerie. I was just asking myself if it was something for women , but had a masculine phrasing to it , I'd be turned off by it because masculine things to me , for my own use I try to stay as far away as possible from. To me it's not a question in my perspective of being secure in my femininity to handle it , it's just that I have no use for it.

The word lingerie doesnt bug me because i know its not just a feminine thing. Theres a whole world of male lingerie out there. Hot boxers, hot jocks, the whole shebang. Theres not really a better word for specifically sexy undergarments

It just depends on how they go with it.

"Sexy Underpants" (Which is a way better way of saying lingerie) are generally pretty tight fitting and secure, which makes them a good candidate for holding a packer anyways. I usually wear jockstraps to workout in for exactly that reason. I think sewing extra pouches and pockets into them would take away from the streamlined and sexy appeal. I'm also not sure who this would be marketed towards, because personally I would never buy anything called male lingerie.

Maybe I don't get it because I'm gay and I really enjoy nice underwear already (as does the boyfriend) but there are plenty of sites out there that sell sexy underwear oriented towards the gay community. And plenty of companies that sell sexy men's underwear at adult stores and stuff (most of which I think is ridiculous) What would makes this underwear different?

I really dislike it when stuff that is geared towards transguys is marketed by using women's sizing, or making statements like "made for larger hips" and "gives the appearance of...". I assume this is probably what would end up happening here.

I have, however seen some interesting fetish gear oriented towards FTMs, like binding chest harnesses. So maybe they could do something like that.

A bit rude, this, don't you think?

Yes, yes it is.

I don't know, I googled "sexy underpants" and "male lingerie" and got much more male lingerie using the latter. Sexy underpants brought up more female lingerie.

The O/P has asked a legitimate question. We should try to answer it.  :)

I'd actually really like some lingerie. Maybe it's because I'm non-binary, or just because I dig satin, but. Seriously? Packing boxer briefs in stretch lace? I'd hand them my wallet. Love the material and craftsmanship that goes into "women's" sexy undies...love the look of "men's"...and the space for my junk.

I would love that. Honestly one of the first things I want to do after I get my new packer is go get some novelty/sexy underwear for no reason other than I want it and it'll make me feel happy lol. But considering I'm not phased by feminine things, I'd probably just go find some from the womens section. But ones specifically to help keep packers in place would be awesome

Homme Mystere already makes male lingerie. It's not geared towards trans men so it doesn't have a pouch for packing but they have some lovely things (and some tacky as heck things). Worth a look though for those of you who said you were interested in the idea.

I think a better title that the original poster was thinking of would be "fashion underwear" which would be like Andrew Christian, Cell Block 13, 2xist and the like. Underwear that you wear because it looks sexy.

Really, I'd like to see maybe some fashion jocks that work well with an STP, or boxer briefs built for short chunky trans guys. The legs in a lot are really long and the whole thing looks kinda diaper-ish

The word lingerie on its own gives me dysphoria.
