"A new series from filmmakers Jen Richards and Laura Zak focuses on its trans protagonist's lived experience rather than relegating her to the sidelines."

I was a donator to this project and I went to the premier showing in L.A. This is a very good production that deals with average issues that a trans woman faces in her day to day life. The concept has the potential to be made into a series aka transparent and there were some hints about some efforts happening along those lines.

The producer is a trans woman. They wanted a transgender person to produce it but you can't ask a person anything about their orientation during interviews so they selected a person that had produced some work that they admired. Later in a conversation some trans stuff was explained and the person said "I know, i'm trans" much to everyone's surprise  :)

The series is being published on the internet to be viewed for free.
