Hi! I'm Mikayla. I'm a MTF software engineer and college professor in Colorado. I've been on HRT for almost a year now and I just recently started living full time. In addition to writing software, I enjoy playing video games and bass guitar. Please hit me up if we share any of the same interests and live near each other.

There seems to be a fair lot of software and tech people here. Professors even.

How are you finding holding a job and transitioning?

I'm lucky to work for a worldwide technical organization with a diverse workforce, so it's a non-issue at my software engineering job. Nobody cares and everyone is really friendly with me. It's been just as non-eventful in my teaching job as well... my students only care that they're learning a lot.

A hearty welcome to Susan's, Mikayla. One of my future projects is learn to play the bass guitar.
