Hello everyone! After
months years of lurking in the forums, I finally have registered an account!
I am bad at introductions, so I will give this a shot:
My name is Gage Tyler, I am 22 years old, and I am ftm transgender, or as I prefer to say, a transgender male, trans male, transguy, or just dude. lol
I'm currently residing in Northwest Ohio, have been here all of my life... and I can't say that I care for the area much.. When I first starting questioning my gender identity, I googled a lot and this site was always one of the first ones to come up! So I have been reading forum posts back and forth for a few years... heh. Anyways, I identified as genderfluid for 3-4 years, and finally realized that I would not be happy until I completely lived as a male. So I came out to a few close friends around May or June of 2015, then made a facebook post, and finally I came out to my family... which did not go very well, but some progress has been made since then... My dad refuses to budge though.. (That is a story for another time!) I've been seeing a really awesome therapist since June, she helped me get the letter for T and finally on December 3rd, 2015, I got my first shot!
Still have a long way to go until I am "completely" transitioned, but I am enjoying the progress so far!
Hmm.. what else is there to say about me? Hmm... Well I am an aspiring YouTuber, I plan to go to school for Psychology, specifically studies relating to gender identity, and I want to be an advocate and transgender activist!
I love animals, I am vegan, I am a very kind, caring, and passionate individual (although I have social anxiety, but that doesn't seem to stop me online!) I enjoy music, reading, crafting, and working out when I am not too lazy lol.
That is all I really can think of for now.. If there is anything that anyone wants to know about me, I am not afraid to answer, as I am a pretty open person! ^_^
