you are right V  .  HRT wont do that so it looks like it will be my next surgery next year (the time it will take for my body to have its proper shape).  then  Hip/butt implants + fat transfer ftw.

I know, i know this surgery is not recommended but my life is not recommended either so why should i not take the risk to be happy.

To each their own, Elodie. I TOTALLY understand where you're coming from and whatever you undertake, you're old enough to decide for yourself, knowing the risks as well. I wish only that you come out of it happier, closer to your goal and have the least complications and pain possible. You do what you need to do but be smart about it, do your research. :)

Time heals, if you plan for and can afford another surgery next year, but wind up growing further in the meantime, you've got all your bases covered :)

I'm taking the lose weight first approach, only 2.5 months in, but as time wears on, I'm sure I'll gain some weight too. Will be fun to see how it distributes. (Easier process for me to do, I'm not out yet)

In my case, this zone HAS changed, from thinner waistline and thicker (wider) under, giving me a more feminine silhouette. I am on injectable estradiol and oral progesterone. I only noticed the change after switching to injections and progesterone.

carmen carrera was on injections/progesterone and it happened to her too, or she had fat transfer  we dont know but still.. i think that injections are more effective  then oral but i cant get my hands on it in canada.

like omg.. look at her i want my hip dip filled  like that :

Hip implants are not dangerous itselves but they usually move and produce discomfort (as far as I know). Anyway, usually doctors use very small implants (like 100cc or maybe 200cc) and they place them under the tensor fasciae latae, so i think they can't fix the hip indentation.

This is how they look (link is from a spanish plastic surgery center which performs this kind of procedures):

Usually best bet is filling the area with your own fat. I guess Carmen Carrera probably did this procedure since her hips and butt are really large... but she has no trace of fat anywhere else and her breast size is mostly due to implants.

Anyway, as other girls noted, having the perfect natural hourglass figure from the photo V posted is *really uncommon* even for cisgirls. Its not a matter of being born trans or cis, its a matter that girl just hit genetic lottery big time and actually she makes feel jealous most cis girls out there.

Btw, Elodie, you're doing what I did... packing on weight after a few months of HRT.  (I have to humbly disagree with Wednesday) It's smart, I think... I did this accidentally tho (didn't make a plan, I just put on pounds) and after losing the extra weight there I'm very happy with my shape now.

Don't do it humbly! I like to be changelled ;D

Now seriously speaking I know it may work for some people but not for the most (I explained it before). As you said you packed weight unconsciously. That's another reason why advice against gaining. HRT melts down muscle mass and slows metabolism, so if you mantain your weight pre-HRT you're already gonna trade muscle for fat, so I think there's no need to speed things up :P

Thank you  ! i like this awnser better so there is hope .  =)

Ill just be patient and wait to see what HRT will do, hormones is the most random thing ive ever seen so i could be surprised again .   i gained 3 inch to my hips in 3 month so i wouldnt be surprised about changes there too.

Then in  1 year if i am not happy i will get the implants + fat transfer

Yup, and usually there's plenty of stuff that can be done.

What people often forget is that even most lucky cisgirls are not naturally born like beauty models. Whenever we see a model we have to keep in mind that behind her image there's a lot of work/investment done. That's why most women complain about how really high beauty standards are.

Please don't get implants they can be dangerous, maybe a fat transfer is better, and more natural. I am on injections too now, and they work much better than pills, I didn't know in Canada  you couldn't get injection, I don't know if I can get progesterone tho.

Wrong. You CAN get them through compounding pharmacies. I live in Canada. :)

You need a prescription for your other hormones and anti-androgens, no? So it's the same thing. As to ordering, you need your doctor to fax them the prescription and you will get it delivered to your home. Then each month, call them to repeat prescription and it gets delivered within 2 days. That simple! If you absolutely want to go yourself to the pharmacy, there are two that do it in your region but I consider them VERY pricey compared to the one outside your region.
