I've only used waxing strips for touch up work. I would not recommend waxing your beard - apart from being very painful it can lead to lots of ingrown hairs. You might want to consider getting a professional wax done. I had a full body wax (except pubes) and it was all over in 45 minutes, so wonderfully smooth.

How about eye brows wax?
